(KRON) – One firearm with two loaded magazines was discovered after a automotive collided with a hearth hydrant, the Hercules Police Division introduced on Monday.  

Hercules law enforcement officials responded to a automotive crash on John Muir Parkway. In response to police, the driving force crashed into a hearth hydrant. 

Responding officers had been knowledgeable by a witness that the driving force was strolling towards a Safeway. The officers positioned a person, recognized as an Oakland resident, who ignored officers after which a foot chase ensued, in line with Hercules PD.

The Oakland resident was detained after the battle. The suspect, in line with police, smelled of alcohol. 

The suspect was arrested and booked into Martinez Detention Facility on DUI and weapons expenses.
