(KRON) — The Marin County Sheriff’s Workplace stated detectives from its Specialised Investigative Unit have been alerted a few San Rafael man who was suspected of cocaine trafficking in Marin County.

Detectives stated they performed surveillance on Tuesday of the person, recognized as 38-year-old John O’Conner, throughout the timeframe of a suspected cocaine transaction.
The sheriff’s workplace stated whereas O’Connor was contacted by detectives in Novato, investigators positioned one other man, David Cermano-Godinez, 34, of San Pablo. Through the surveillance, detectives decided that O’Conner was assembly Cermano-Godinez to purchase medication. Detectives stated Cermano-Godinez introduced alongside his 1-year-old and 2-year-old youngsters and their mom.
Detectives stated they positioned over “a half kilogram of suspected cocaine” after they did a search of Cermano-Godinez’s car.
Detectives stated “O’Connor was taken into custody for facilitating the sale of cocaine and Cermano-Godinez was placed under arrest for possession of cocaine with intent for sales and child endangerment for bringing his children to a narcotic transaction.”
The Marin County Sheriff’s Workplace stated search warrants executed at O’Connor’s and Cermano-Godinez’s residences uncovered “approximately a quarter pound of suspected cocaine” at Cermano-Godinez’s residence.
Detectives confirmed that the Division of Youngster and Household Companies was notified of Cermeno’s youngsters being current for the narcotics sale.
O’Connor and Cermano-Godinez have been booked into the Marin County Jail.
Investigators added that the half kilogram of suspected cocaine positioned in Cermano-Godinez’s car has an estimated road worth of $50,000.
