2 arrested in 8-year chilly homicide case: SDPS

(KRON) – The Sunnyvale Division of Public Security (SDPS) arrested two suspects on homicide fees in an eight-year chilly case.

Early morning on Jun. 8, 2017, SDPS officers responded to an institution within the 900 block of E. Duane Avenue for the report of a taking pictures. 

Responding officers situated two males affected by gunshot wounds. One of many victims was pronounced lifeless on the scene. The opposite was taken to the hospital and survived his accidents.

The division stated regardless of an “extensive investigation” the case went chilly. In 2024, SDPS collaborated with the Santa Clara County District Lawyer’s Workplace and recognized two suspects within the case. 

The suspects had been recognized as Vicente Aguilera-Chavez and Agustin Sandoval. Each had been arrested on Thursday and Friday by the SDPS SWAT staff. 

Aguilera-Chavez and Sandova had been booked into the Santa Clara County Jail on suspicion of homicide.
