2 face manslaughter fees in North Bay opioid overdose dying

(KRON) — The Marin County Sheriff’s Workplace introduced Monday that two folks had been arrested for voluntary manslaughter in connection to the opioid overdose dying of a 22-year-old man in Corte Madera.

On Saturday morning, the Central Marin Police Authority officers responded to a report of an unconscious man inside a car on Sunnyside Avenue. Arriving emergency personnel positioned the 22-year-old man deceased.

The reason for dying was decided to be a suspected opioid overdose dying, in accordance with a Marin County Coroner investigator. The sheriff’s workplace Specialised Investigations Unit started to analyze a possible overdose murder.

Possible trigger developed by the unit led to the arrests of two suspects, recognized as 25-year-old Raul Beltran and 22-year-old Olivia Peters, each of Corte Madera. Beltran and Peters had been booked into the Marin County Jail on fees of voluntary manslaughter and furnishing a managed substance leading to nice bodily hurt.

Bail was set at $100,000 for every suspect.
