2 swimmers rescued in SF Bay: San Francisco Hearth

(KRON) — The San Francisco Hearth Division (SFFD) stated two swimmers in misery had been rescued with the assistance of the division’s rescue boats within the San Francisco Bay on Saturday night. SFFD stated each at the moment are secure on shore.

In keeping with SFFD, the 2 people had been swimming between Alcatraz Island and Pier 45 when San Francisco Hearth rescue boats responded to the misery name. The San Francisco Police Division’s Marine Unit additionally responded to the incident.

It’s unclear what led to the incident, and the circumstances of the 2 swimmers haven’t been launched.

SFFD added on X, previously Twitter, “This is a reminder – if you call 911, stay on the phone until the dispatcher gives you the OK to hang up.”
