Deputies seen that Brooks appeared older, and additional investigation decided her true identification. It was additionally discovered that the lady had an excellent arrest warrant for $250,000 out of Contra Costa County on theft-related fees.

Through the interplay, deputies noticed a “large amount” of alcohol and wonder merchandise within the automobile which the suspects couldn’t present receipts for, the sheriff’s workplace stated. The merchandise totaled roughly $2,845. Authorities consider the gadgets have been stolen from “at least five locations” in Sonoma County.

Higgins and Brooks have been arrested and booked into the Principal Grownup Detention Facility. Higgins faces fees of organized retail theft, possession of stolen property and conspiracy. Brooks faces the identical fees plus the excellent warrant and impersonating one other to make liable.
