(KRON) — A preliminary 4.5 earthquake shook Wednesday night in Lake County, in response to the US Geological Survey (USGS). The earthquake occurred at 6:34 p.m. with its epicenter about 15 miles south of Clear Lake.
The USGS later upgraded the earthquake to a 4.7 after it beforehand mentioned it was a 4.5. In keeping with the Nationwide Climate Service, no tsunami hazard has been reported.
The earthquake was felt in San Francisco and different elements of the Bay Space. Lake County — though not one of many 9 Bay Space counties — is the primary county north of Napa County within the Bay Space.

The earthquake is about two miles northwest of Cobb, in response to the USGS.
