(KRON) — The Fremont Police Division (FPD) introduced on Tuesday a sequence of arrests associated to latest retail thefts within the metropolis. A complete of 4 arrests had been made after two separate and unrelated cases of reported theft, in response to FPD.

On Jan. 27 at round 1:14 p.m., police acquired a name about shoplifting at a grocery retailer. In response to FPD, the suspect tried to run away when officers arrived, prompting a foot chase. Ultimately, police caught up and efficiently detained the suspect, a 28-year-old Tracy resident.

Police later discovered a few second suspect who was in possession of stolen property from the unnamed grocery retailer, FPD mentioned. That suspect, a 38-year-old Oakland resident, was taken into custody.
