8 detained in Mission Road retail theft sting operations: SFPD

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — The San Francisco Police Division (SFPD) stated an Ingleside District enterprise focused in a excessive variety of shoplifting incidents was the location of retail theft abatement enforcement operations that led to the detainment of eight folks.

San Francisco police stated uniformed and plainclothes officers from its Ingleside Station performed the pre-planned sting Tuesday on the enterprise positioned on the 3300 block of Mission Road.

Police confirmed eight people have been arrested for organized retail crime and petty theft. Seven suspects have been cited and launched on the scene for shoplifting. The remaining suspect was booked at San Francisco County Jail for excellent warrants plus the on-view theft cost.
