(KRON) — The Antioch Police Division (APD) mentioned two suspected carjackers are in custody after a automobile and foot chase Thursday evening that concerned a number of regulation enforcement businesses.

APD mentioned all of it unfolded at 6:15 p.m. in downtown Antioch when the suspects pressured two victims from their automobile at gunpoint then drove away.

Investigators mentioned the thieves had no concept that the now stolen automobile had a Lojack monitoring system, which made it straightforward for a number of businesses, together with the California Freeway Patrol – Contra Costa Division and the Pittsburg Police Division, to meet up with them throughout a chase.

APD mentioned the suspects have been each arrested fleeing the automobile, and one broke their ankle when making an attempt to hop a fence.
