Former California Governor Jerry Brown sat down with Inside California Politics co-host Nikki Laurenzo in mid-December forward of a presentation with the Public Coverage Institute of California in downtown Sacramento.
In a wide-ranging dialog, Brown shared his ideas on the state of California’s economic system and the law-making course of, the end result of the presidential election, and present Governor Gavin Newsom’s name for a particular legislative session to “Trump-proof” California forward of his inauguration.
In the course of the interview, Brown stated that President-elect Donald Trump’s invitation to Chinese language President Xi Jinping to his inauguration is an effective gesture and that there must be “far more talk” between world leaders.
