(KRON) – The San Francisco 49ers plan to droop De’Vondre Campbell after he refused to play in Thursday’s recreation in opposition to the Los Angeles Rams, based on ESPN.
The suspension is projected to be for 3 video games, which can finish his season.
Within the third quarter, the linebacker was requested to play by Niners Head Coach Kyle Shanahan. After Campbell’s refusal, he returned to the locker room.
The 49ers fell to the Rams (12-6).
Campbell’s choice angered his groups and coaches.

“His actions from the game are not something you can do to your team or teammates and still expect to be a part of our team,” Shanahan mentioned Friday. “We’re working through the semantics right now, but we’ll handle the situation appropriately.”
Tight finish George Kittle known as Campbell’s actions “stupid” and “immature.”
Cornerback Charvarius Ward didn’t maintain his sentiments concerning Campbell’s walkout, saying Campbell’s actions “definitely hurt the team” and “he’s probably going to get cut soon.”
At 31, Campbell is in his ninth yr within the NFL and that is his first season as a 49er.
