Fairfield police drone locates lacking autistic youngster

(KRON) — An autistic youngster who went lacking in Fairfield final week was positioned with the help of a drone, in line with the Fairfield Police Division.

Police responded Wednesday to a lacking individual report on the 4700 block of Enterprise Middle Drive. Officers had been knowledgeable a 16-year-old autistic youngster was lacking from the situation.

The close by terrain offered a problem, authorities mentioned, and Fairfield PD Officer Swoyer arrived to help with a drone geared up with a thermal imager. With the drone in flight, Swoyer efficiently used the thermal imager to search out the lacking youngster inside a thick brush in an open subject.
