(KRON) – Two retail theft suspects had been hit with extra expenses associated to the implementation of Prop 36 after 4 Sacramento residents allegedly dedicated grand theft in Vacaville’s Nut Tree Village, in keeping with authorities.

The Vacaville Police Division was first alerted to the theft by a neighborhood member who police say witnessed a lady holding a load of garments in her arms working out of Nordstrom Rack. Police stated the suspect fled in a blue SUV. 

Vacaville PD stated the division’s neighborhood service officers started surveilling cameras within the space and discovered the SUV was headed close to the east plaza. The responding officer stated they positioned the unoccupied SUV parked in entrance of Nike.

Officers stated not too lengthy later two suspects, recognized as Sacramento residents Breanna Martin, 31, and Laquiesha Ellington, 37, ran out of the shops with a “full bag” of stolen objects. Police stated the duo tried to flee again into the shop however had been detained.

Fleeing driver charged with youngster endangerment after crashing, injuring 2 others in Vallejo

Vacaville PD stated officers later decided the duo was not working alone. Sacramento residents Jasmine Russell, 37, and Oscar Guerra, 30, had been detained at a close-by retailer, in keeping with police. 

Based on the police investigation, the group collectively stole greater than $2,200 in merchandise from Nordstrom Rack and greater than $1,600 in merchandise from Nike.
