(KRON) — San Jose civil rights chief Jethroe Moore has died, the San Jose/Silicon Valley NAACP introduced Thursday.
The NAACP described Moore as “one of the most impactful community leaders” within the South Bay over the previous 10 years. He served as president of the San Jose/Silicon Valley NAACP chapter and vp of the California/Hawaii State NAACP.

“His presence can never be replaced, and he will be profoundly missed,” mentioned San Jose/Silicon Valley NAACP Vice President Sean Allen.
Moore was a licensed and ordained reverend and was a Pastor of the Rehoboth Christian Middle, in response to his bio on the NAACP’s web site.
