Tragic Loss: Victim Identified in Watsonville Seaside Incident

(BCN) — A Watsonville man who died after he was trapped by particles washed up by excessive surf final week alongside a Monterey Bay seaside has been recognized. David Koons, 64, grew to become trapped at Sundown State Seaside close to Watsonville, after a big wave washed particles ashore about 11:30 a.m. on Dec. 23, in response to the Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Workplace.
