Heroic Recognition for Corte Madera Overdose Survivor

(KRON) — A 22-year-old Corte Madera man who died from a suspected drug overdose was recognized by officers on Wednesday as Zachary Ethan Colety.

On the morning of January 4, Central Marin Police Authority officers acquired a report of an opioid-overdose-dying/” title=”2 face manslaughter fees in North Bay … overdose dying”>unconscious man inside a car on Sunnyside Avenue in Corte Madera. Colety was pronounced lifeless on the scene.

A coroner decided that Colety’s dying was a suspected opioid overdose, in accordance with the Marin County Sheriff’s Workplace. Investigators didn’t say if the drug concerned was fentanyl or a unique sort of opioid.

Sheriff’s detectives arrested two suspects, Raul Beltran, 25, and Olivia Peters, 22, who stay in Corte Madera. Each Beltran and Peters are going through prices together with voluntary manslaughter and furnishing a managed substance leading to nice bodily harm.

Beltran and Peters had been booked into the Marin County Jail with bail set at $100,000 every.
