North Bay Ok-9 sniffs out suspected meth vendor’s stash

(BCN) — Santa Rosa officers busted a person Wednesday morning for allegedly dealing massive quantities of methamphetamine within the space, police stated.

An investigation into Santa Rosa resident Raymundo Flores-Navarro, 48, started final November, in response to police. On Wednesday at 11 a.m., detectives carried out a search warrant within the 900 block of Ware Avenue and detained Flores-Navarro.

The Sonoma County Sheriff’s Workplace’s Ok-9 “Duke” was deployed to help detectives in looking out Flores-Navarro’s residence for narcotics. In line with police, Duke alerted to the presence of medication within the kitchen. A search of that space allegedly revealed roughly 4 kilos of suspected meth and a digital scale hid there.

Police stated that with out Duke, detectives would most definitely not have positioned the suspected medicine.

Flores-Navarro has at the very least two prior convictions for gross sales of narcotics/managed substances, police stated.

Flores-Navarro was booked into the Sonoma County Jail on suspicion of being in possession of a managed substance on the market and doing so with two prior convictions.

He’s being held with out bail and his subsequent court docket look is scheduled for Friday, in response to jail data.
