OAKLAND, Calif. (KRON) — The Alameda County Board of Supervisors chosen Ursula Jones Dickson to be the county’s new district legal professional on Tuesday.
Dickson was voted to be the DA at a gathering on Tuesday evening. She is presently a superior court docket decide in Alameda County.

Dickson beat out seven different candidates, together with California Division of Justice Chief Deputy Lawyer Normal Venus Johnson and Annie Esposito, who’s a prosecutor with the Contra Costa District Lawyer’s Workplace.
Alameda County’s earlier DA Pamela Value was recalled in November over issues together with her soft-on-crime insurance policies.
The group that spearheaded the recall endorsed Esposito and Dickson.
