(KRON) — Tons of of items of stolen mail and private checks had been discovered within the residence of a suspect accused of fraudulent bank card use, the Alameda Police Division introduced Monday.

Police started an investigation after an Alameda resident reported fraudulent use on their bank card in early January. Greater than $1,700 was unknowingly charged to the sufferer’s card over a sequence of transactions, authorities stated.
