Former Subcontractors Arrested in Connection with Multiple Palo Alto Restaurant Burglaries

(KRON) — Three individuals have been arrested in reference to three restaurant burglaries in Palo Alto this winter, the Palo Alto Police Division introduced Monday. All the suspects labored as subcontractors for a cleansing firm that serviced the victimized companies.

The three suspects are all San Francisco residents, and PAPD is investigating whether or not they’re linked to different burglaries in Palo Alto and different cities.

The three eating places burglarized have been Native Union 271 (271 College Ave.), Nola (535 Ramona St.), and Ettan (518 Bryant St.). The suspects made off with about $16,000 in money mixed from the three eating places.

In all three instances, the burglaries occurred in a single day, and the eating places reported that the suspects received in by way of a rear door and took safes containing money.

The suspects have been recognized as Marcos David Umana Romero, 29, Jose Roberto Rodriguez, 31, and Armando Aguilar Sevillas, 27. Police are investigating whether or not there are different suspects concerned.

The suspects have been arrested in San Francisco on Feb. 6 on suspicion of conspiracy and business housebreaking.
