(KRON) — Authorities within the North Bay are warning group members after a toddler kidnapping hoax was reported on Tuesday.
The Calistoga Police Division mentioned a mother or father in Napa obtained a cellphone name from an individual who claimed to have kidnapped their daughter. The unknown caller then performed a recording of a younger woman’s voice within the background. In line with authorities, the perpetrator within the rip-off was making an attempt to persuade the mother or father that their daughter was in peril.
