(KRON) — A Vallejo man was arrested and charged with stealing massive quantities of LEGOs from shops throughout the East Bay, in accordance with paperwork supplied by the Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Workplace. Michael Ivory Fletcher, 32, is accused of stealing LEGOs from Goal shops in Fremont, Walnut Creek and San Ramon, taking greater than $950 value of toys every time.
Fletcher would allegedly enter the shops alone, replenish a procuring cart with LEGO merchandise and depart in a matter of minutes. In response to the DA’s workplace, he would park in a disabled spot and cargo the stolen objects into his automobile.
The primary reported theft occurred on the Goal at 2610 Bishop Drive in San Ramon on Aug. 11, 2024. On Oct. 16, he returned to that Goal and stole extra LEGOs, the DA’s workplace stated.

He allegedly struck once more on Jan. 31 in Walnut Creek, stealing greater than $950 value of LEGOs on the Goal positioned at 1871 North Predominant St. The following week, Fletcher returned to the identical Goal on Feb. 5 and Feb. 6 to steal extra LEGOs, per the DA’s workplace.
His final two thefts occurred on Feb. 15, when he stole LEGOs from Goal shops in Fremont and Walnut Creek, charging paperwork say.
In whole, Fletcher is accused of stealing virtually $25,000 value of products from Goal. He’s accused of thefts in Contra Costa, Alameda, Solano, San Joaquin, Sonoma and Santa Clara counties.
The DA’s workplace charged Fletcher on Feb. 20 with crimes together with second-degree industrial housebreaking and grand theft of private property. He’s being held within the Martinez Detention Facility on a $467,500 bail.
