(KRON) — The American Canyon Police Division stated two males have been arrested for attempting to steal tools from a PG&E facility in American Canyon after one suspect was noticed on safety video in a black ski masks and carrying a attainable carjack.

American Canyon PD stated the incident occurred simply earlier than 7 p.m. Sunday. Officers stated they rapidly positioned the suspected automobile, a silver and black Ford Fusion, heading eastbound on Inexperienced Island Highway not removed from the PG&E web site.

Police stated a search of the automotive upturned a “stolen dirt compactor belonging to PG&E, as well as burglary tools, including copper cutters and bolt cutters.” Officers stated in addition they found a few BB handguns, gloves and two walkie-talkies contained in the automobile.

The suspects, recognized as Franklin Morales, 38, of San Pablo, and Jose Carrero Rosas, 30, of Harmony, have been booked into the Napa County Jail. They face a number of costs, together with possession of housebreaking instruments, grand theft, and conspiracy to commit against the law.
