College Students at Sonoma County Campuses Safe After Lockdown Alert

(KRON) — The Sonoma County Workplace of Schooling (SCOE) stated a menace posted on social media by a scholar’s father brought about two colleges to enter lockdown Monday morning. SCOE stated the net menace is being dealt with by the Sheriff’s Workplace in an ongoing legal investigation.

SCOE confirmed in a information launch that every one 220 college students at Concord Elementary College and Salmon Creek College are secure and reunited with their households.

The 2 colleges share a campus in Occidental on the 1900 block of Bohemian Freeway. They went into lockdown at 9:30 a.m. after the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Workplace decided that the dad or mum’s menace was credible. Sheriff deputies didn’t present particulars on what led as much as the menace or what the menace regarded.

SCOE stated each colleges plan to renew lessons on Tuesday, and that it’s working to help college students and their households as they return to campus.
