(KRON) — Officers responded to a taking pictures at a Motel 6 in Fairfield on Thursday night, the Fairfield Police Division (FPD) mentioned. Round 5:45 p.m., police had been referred to as to the motel on Vacation Lane.

Upon arrival, police situated one sufferer with minor accidents. In accordance with FPD, the suspect shot on the sufferer’s automobile outdoors of the motel. The accidents had been from the automobile’s damaged glass and never bullets from the taking pictures, police mentioned.

Witnesses mentioned the suspect ran away to a room on the motel after pictures had been fired, in line with FPD. The taking pictures prompted all different Motel 6 visitors to briefly shelter in place.

Fairfield college district addresses incident of trainer grabbing scholar’s neck

Fairfield police negotiated with the suspect via the motel room cellphone. Finally, the person exited the room and was taken into custody with out incident.

The suspect was described to be a 63-year-old Fairfield man. The investigation stays ongoing.
