Armed Man Arrested for Involving Minor in Drug Promotion Scheme

(KRON) — A 32-year-old man was charged with a number of felonies Thursday in reference to narcotics trafficking with a juvenile, the San Francisco District Lawyer’s Workplace introduced. The alleged incident happened involving an undercover San Francisco police officer.

In response to courtroom paperwork, Santos Adan Ochoa-Carcamo bought narcotics, together with methamphetamine, to undercover SFPD officers within the metropolis’s Mission District on three totally different dates: Jan. 21, Feb. 5 and March 3.

The January incident happened close to the El Capitan Lodge, situated on the 2300 block of Mission Road, and police stated a plan was organized then to purchase extra medication later. On the Feb 5. incident, police alleged Ochoa-Carcamo was assisted by a juvenile within the transaction. When police searched the properties of Ochoa-Carcamo and the juvenile on March 6, they uncovered a “loaded handgun, a digital scale, packaging materials, 45.4 grams of fentanyl, 17.4 grams of cocaine and over $10,000.”

Santos Adan Ochoa-Carcamo was charged with the counts listed beneath. He has pled not responsible to all expenses and denied all allegations, in line with the DA.

“We will not back down from the fight to close open air drug markets and hold drug dealers accountable, especially those who would exploit juveniles, and do everything in our power to bring them to justice,” said DA Brooke Jenkins in a news release. “Drug traffickers should know that we are in this for as long as it takes and will continue to adapt our strategies and take the fight to them.”
