(KRON) — The Pinole Police Division mentioned officers responded Friday to the report of a Pinole Valley Excessive Faculty pupil with a firearm.

Google dumping Assistant for AI-powered ‘Gemini’

The incident unfolded on the faculty’s campus situated on the 2900 block of Pinole Valley Street.

Pinole PD mentioned it was in a position to establish the scholar with the assistance of faculty workers, however the pupil took off and fled campus when approached by officers.

Police confirmed officers shortly situated the scholar shut by the college. A canvas of the world by police upturned a loaded firearm that’s pictured beneath.

It’s not clear what led to the scholar bringing the gun to highschool. It was not talked about in a Fb put up by the Pinole Police Division if the scholar’s dad and mom have been notified of the incident or what expenses the scholar could face.

Pinole police mentioned within the put up, “This incident highlights the strong collaboration between our officers and school staff and reinforces our commitment to keeping our schools and community safe.”
