SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — The San Francisco Fireplace Division stated crews responded to the report of a cliff rescue at Fort Funston Seashore involving a canine on Friday night.

In an alert posted at 5:09 p.m. on X, previously Twitter, SFFD stated there was a “dog with its leash around its neck off a cliff” and informed seashore guests to “Avoid the Area.” Ft. Funston is situated at 899 Lake Merced Boulevard.

Lower than an hour later, San Francisco Fireplace up to date that the “stuck” canine was protected, unhurt and reunited with its proprietor, “continuing to enjoy their beach day.”
It’s not clear what led to the incident.
SFFD added, “We couldn’t ask for a more PAWFECT conclusion.”
