ANTIOCH, Calif. (KRON) — An replace now on a lethal hit-and-run investigation in Antioch. Police are releasing a photograph of the automobile (under) that investigators finally consider killed a lady crossing the road again in October.

Greater than two months after Patricia Redd was killed utilizing the crosswalk at Lone Tree Manner and Canada Valley Highway in Antioch, the police division launched a photograph of the automobile concerned.

“It’s unfortunate that she’s gone,” Redd’s sister Terri mentioned. “They’re doing the best they can.”

Investigators sat on the picture for weeks earlier than releasing it to the general public to verify it was in reality the automobile that struck Terri Redd’s 54-year-old sister on Oct. 12.

That is particularly irritating for Terri, who has mourned her late sister on the crash website. She is now grateful the picture will attain extra eyes.

“They just tell me that it’s a white sedan,” Terri mentioned.

Investigators are on the lookout for both a more moderen mannequin Toyota Camry or Lexus. Patricia, who was homeless, died from the accidents she sustained that evening 11 days after she was hit.

Her sister has been hoping the motive force would voluntarily give up to police.

“But it doesn’t seem like that’s gonna happen. So, it looks like they’re gonna have to catch him. I hope they catch him,” Terri mentioned.

Terri mentioned she and her sister have been shut.

“She’s my only sister,” Terri mentioned. “You know, we were only 10 months apart. When she was feeling sad or hurt, I would feel it.”

Police say even seemingly minor particulars from potential witnesses within the space that lethal night may have cracked this case.

“My sister — she needs justice for this. I want to be able to put her to rest,” Terri mentioned. “I don’t think she’s at rest right now until this is solved.”
