Armed robbers steal victims' watches behind Millbrae fuel station: sheriff

(KRON) — Authorities on the San Francisco Peninsula are investigating an armed theft Saturday the place two victims reported being robbed of their watches behind a Chevron fuel station in Millbrae. The San Mateo County Sheriff’s Workplace is asking for the neighborhood’s help in figuring out the suspects.

The 2 victims have been on the Chevron fuel station positioned at 320 East Millbrae Avenue round 2:45 p.m. after they walked behind the enterprise and encountered a black Jeep SUV, the sheriff’s workplace mentioned. Three males contained in the Jeep robbed the victims at gunpoint, taking watches valued between $100 and $200 every.

“Despite extensive efforts, including checking multiple variations of the reported license plate and reviewing Automated License Plate Reader (ALPR) data, no matches have been found, and the vehicle has not been located,” the sheriff’s workplace mentioned Wednesday.

Authorities imagine the black Jeep is a 2010-2012 mannequin and has yellow lettering on the license plate. The driving force was described as carrying all black clothes.

A second suspect is roughly 5 toes 10 inches tall and was carrying a black hooded sweatshirt, black joggers and a black face masking. The sheriff’s workplace mentioned he was armed with a gold-colored pistol.

The third suspect was described as being between 5 toes 5 inches and 5 toes 8 inches tall. He was carrying black denims, a black hooded sweatshirt and a black face masking. He was additionally armed with a black handgun, authorities mentioned.

The sheriff’s workplace mentioned there isn’t any ongoing risk to public security.
