Bay Area Braces for Flooding as Heavy Rain Hits on Tuesday

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — A sequence of storms continues to roll by means of the San Francisco Bay Space on Tuesday, bringing heavy rain and robust winds. Rainfall Tuesday morning is leading to spots of flooding on roads for the morning commute.

Pockets of heavy rain will proceed on and off by means of the morning with a little bit of a mid-day lull. Heavier rain and winds decide up once more this afternoon, proper in the course of the night commute.

A thunderstorm outlook is in impact for a lot of the Bay Space from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., based on the Nationwide Climate Service. The outlook was issued as there’s a 10% or larger likelihood for thunderstorms. “Storms are expected to be non-severe but we continue to monitor for any changes as winds pick up,” climate officers stated simply after midnight.
