(KRON) — Residents of a Benicia condo constructing discovered a bullet gap of their ceiling that led to an investigation into the upstairs neighbors and an arrest, the Benicia Police Division introduced Thursday.
The condo residents found a bullet projectile of their dwelling on Feb. 7 and alerted the police. A bullet gap was discovered within the ceiling, suggesting that the projectile got here from the condo above, Benicia PD stated.
A search warrant was executed on Thursday for the upstairs condo together with automobiles related to the upstairs residents. One of many suspects allegedly made a confession that, together with an alert from Ok-9 Enzo, led officers to a handgun in a car.

Police stated the handgun was loaded and unregistered.
