Beware: Scammers Impersonating City Employees Target Fairfield Residents!

(KRON) – The Fairfield Police Division is warning residents of a brand new scheme that scammers are utilizing to achieve entry to folks’s properties. 

The division posted on its social media on Thursday that situations of scammers posing as utility employees or solicitors are on the rise.

Based on Fairfield PD, reliable metropolis employees at all times carry official metropolis identification. The division suggests verifying anybody who claims to be a metropolis employee’s ID and calling the corporate instantly utilizing the quantity in your invoice.
