(KRON) — East Bay rap icon Too Quick and Inexperienced Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong are getting behind the Oakland Ballers. The group introduced on Wednesday that the 2 internationally famend musicians — each of whom have East Bay roots — will probably be becoming a member of the group’s possession group.

The Oakland Ballers and the Oakland Roots & Soul represent everything I love and grew up on in the Bay Area. The welcoming atmosphere, DIY attitude and people behind it make me proud to be an investor and support the next generation of teams kids in the bay will be proud of.”
