Cal soccer participant loses household house in Eaton Fireplace

(KRON) — A UC Berkeley soccer participant is amongst those that misplaced their house on this week’s devastating Los Angeles fires. Freshman tight finish Camden Jones’ household house was destroyed within the Eaton Fireplace, based on a GoFundMe began by the mom of one other Cal soccer participant.

The Jones household is from Altadena. Camden, his dad and mom and their Labradoodle have been all capable of evacuate safely, the GoFundMe mentioned.

Nonetheless, the home and all the pieces inside have been misplaced. Belongings, private objects and Camden’s soccer memorabilia went up in flames.

Camden’s sister Chelsea was married just lately, and her marriage ceremony items have been inside the house when it burned.

“This lovely family has suffered devastating losses, they have lost everything,” the GoFundMe mentioned.

The Ringer podcaster Van Lathan is amongst those that tweeted help for the Jones household and requested the general public to assist with donations.

The GoFundMe aimed to lift $35,000, and its objective was met by the top of Thursday.
