CHP investigates deadly Santa Rosa hit-and-run 

(KRON) – The California Freeway Patrol is investigating a deadly hit-and-run that occurred in Santa Rosa on Saturday evening. 

At 10:10 p.m., CHP officers responded to southbound Freeway 101 close to south of Steele Lane for the report of a crash. CHP mentioned a male pedestrian was mendacity within the roadway and will have been hit by a car. 

Police on the lookout for lacking man final seen close to Kaiser Fremont

The pedestrian was pronounced lifeless on the scene, in keeping with CHP. 

CHP mentioned the suspect’s car was not situated on the scene and CHP had restricted data on the car. The division mentioned they shut down the left two lanes for the investigation. 

Anybody with details about this incident or the suspect car is requested to name the Santa Rosa CHP workplace at (707) 806-5600.
