Convicted Felon Arrested for Attempting to Sell Medicine to Undercover SF Police

(KRON) – A convicted felon has been charged for promoting meth and managed substances in San Francisco’s Tenderloin District, San Francisco District Legal professional Brooke Jenkins introduced Friday.

Jose Ramos, 36, was arrested by the San Francisco Police Division on Wednesday on Leavenworth Road. In looking Ramos, police stated they discovered 30.9 grams of fentanyl, 26.8 grams of methamphetamine, 23.7 grams of cocaine and 9 grams of suspected heroin. 

In response to Jenkins’ workplace, per week prior Ramos allegedly offered 1.9 grams of cocaine base for $6 to an undercover officer at Hyde and Ellis Road. On Dec. 13, the district lawyer’s workplace stated Ramos “allegedly sold 3 grams of cocaine base for $50 to an undercover officer and allegedly told the officer he “worked” from 9:30 p.m. until 5:30 a.m.”

The prison criticism, in line with Jenkins’ workplace, additionally alleges that Ramos was carrying a substance containing multiple ounce of multiple ounce of fentanyl.

Ramos was charged with a number of costs, together with:

two counts of transportation 

sale and gifting away of managed substances

three counts of possession on the market of managed substances

Ramos was in violation of a stay-away order as a situation of his probation, in line with the DA’s workplace.

Ramos is scheduled to be arraigned on Dec. 20. He’ll stay detained as a result of DA’s workplace thought-about him a flight threat.

Jenkins’ workplace stated that is the primary filed case with a weight enhancement for the reason that implementation of Prop 36 on Wednesday. 

“The Prop 36 weight enhancement is an important new tool that my office will use in the fight against drug dealers that have torn apart our neighborhoods,” stated Jenkins.
