Crash closes eastbound Alvarado-Niles Highway in Union Metropolis

UNION CITY, Calif. (KRON) — The eastbound lanes of Alvarado-Niles Highway in Union Metropolis had been closed Monday night time as a result of a crash, the Union Metropolis Police Division stated.

The crash occurred within the space of Almaden Boulevard. Police reported it at 8:42 p.m.

A pedestrian was struck by a car, and all concerned events remained on the scene, UCPD stated. Police couldn’t verify the severity of the accidents.

Drivers are suggested to make use of alternate routes. The highway can be closed till early Tuesday morning, police stated.
