(KRON) — Oakland Hearth Division crews responded to a constructing fireplace at 1900 Broadway on Thursday night. As of 5:37 p.m., it was introduced underneath management.
OFD believes the hearth began in a trash chute, however the trigger is underneath investigation. Items are preventing the hearth with water.

There’s a massive OFD presence in downtown Oakland because of the blaze. Crews first responded earlier than 5:10 p.m.
Greater than 50 firefighters responded to the hearth. There have been no stories of accidents.
AC Transit was not stopping at West Grand Avenue, Thomas L. Berkeley Method, Uptown Transit Heart and seventeenth Road for a time period Thursday because of the fireplace response.
