Draymond Green Teams Up with Celebrity Chefs to Launch Exciting New Restaurant in San Francisco!

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — A brand new restaurant is coming to San Francisco, and one of many metropolis’s largest sports activities stars will likely be concerned in opening it.

Draymond Inexperienced is partnering with Nelson German, who owns Dominican restaurant Alamar in Oakland, and Guma Fassil, who owns Ethiopian restaurant Meski’s Kitchen & Backyard in Berkeley, to open a restaurant referred to as “Meski” in San Francisco, German confirmed to KRON4.

Based on the San Francisco Chronicle, Meski will likely be positioned at 1000 Larkin St. It can mix the culinary backgrounds of all of these concerned.

“It’s hard to find anything that represents Black culture in San Francisco,” Inexperienced informed the Chronicle. “I want to create a staple in this city that people can go to and regardless if you are actually a part of that culture, you can feel that and feel welcome.”

The meals, dessert and drink choices will all characteristic features of Caribbean and Ethiopian cuisines. It can have a downstairs lounge with sofas and TV screens to observe sports activities together with a conventional eating room upstairs, the Chronicle reported. Each areas could have entry to the complete menu.

The restaurant’s Instagram account reveals dishes corresponding to a T-bone steak in a berbere-coffee rub with plantains on the facet.

“For 2 years we’ve been quietly building a dining & nightlife concept that will change the game for San Francisco- the culinary capital of the west coast,” Fassil stated on Instagram.

The restaurant opens March 7, per the Chronicle. It will likely be open from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. on weekdays and 5:30 p.m. to midnight on Friday and Saturday.
