Empowering Youth: A Black-Owned Program Unleashes Creativity Through Video Game Development!

OAKLAND, Calif. (KRON) — An Oakland nonprofit, Gameheads, is working to extend the variety of Black online game builders by guiding low-income college students of coloration into the gaming business. Gameheads, co-founded by Damon Packwood, gives free lessons, mentorship, and entry to a state-of-the-art gaming middle for college students aged 15 to 25.
