Joshua Costan, a Fairfield resident, was discovered lifeless mendacity alongside the street within the 2300 block of El Rancho Means round 7:15 a.m. on Jan. 18.

Police earlier marked the case as the primary murder in Fairfield for 2025. Nevertheless, preliminary findings could have modified the minds of detectives, who mentioned it might have been an “accidental shooting, with evidence suggesting the victim unintentionally discharged a firearm, resulting in a fatal self-inflicted gunshot wound.”
