Police mentioned a Okay-9 officer that’s skilled in “explosive material detection” assisted officers in canvasing the varsity. Police mentioned that nothing suspicious was discovered on the property.

Fremont PD confirmed Heat Springs Elementary Faculty will stay open as police have assigned further officers to stay on web site all through the day.

Police mentioned their investigation to this point has turned up leads within the case. They mentioned the e-mail origin of the bomb menace is “not local and does not appear credible.”
