Hearth reported at metallic scrapyard in San Leandro

(KRON) — Crews are responding to a hearth at a metallic scrapyard Thursday afternoon, based on the Alameda County Hearth Division. Officers stated calls got here in about a big hearth close to the 900 block of Doolittle Drive in San Leandro.

4 engines and one hearth truck have been despatched to the scene by ACFD. Greater than a dozen firefighters are on the scene.

As of 4:30 p.m., the hearth continues to be lively however is “under control.” There aren’t any reviews of accidents. ACFD says the reason for this hearth continues to be being investigated.

KRON4 is sending a crew to the scene.
