SRPD mentioned officers responded at 1:15 p.m. Thursday to Lot 4, a city-owned parking construction on the 600 block of seventh Avenue, for a report of a success and run. The parking enforcement officer advised police he was issuing a parking quotation to the suspected van for “towing a trailer for blocking in several other vehicles in the parking garage.”
Investigators mentioned the suspect was upset to seek out the quotation being distributed, when he returned to the placement, and “tried to drive off, hitting the parking enforcement officer in the process.” The sufferer obtained minor accidents and was handled and launched at a close-by hospital, confirmed Santa Rosa police.
Investigators mentioned the suspect’s car was discovered a short while later at a Residence Depot parking zone in Rohnert Park, and he was arrested by police when he left the shop.
The driving force, recognized as 35-year-old Vincent Kimber of Oregon, was booked into the Sonoma County Jail.
