Homeless Man Arrested After Attacking Police Vehicle and Officer in Milpitas

(KRON) — The Milpitas Police Division stated a homeless individual was arrested after allegedly throwing an object at an officer’s patrol automobile then assaulting them on Valentine’s Day.

Juveniles carjack two feminine victims at gunpoint in Vallejo

Milpitas PD stated the incident occurred at 4:39 a.m. final Friday when a midnight shift officer was driving their patrol automobile within the space of S. Abel Avenue and Corning Avenue.

Police stated a suspect, a 38-year-old unhoused individual, “intentionally threw an object at the officer, hitting their front windshield.” Police stated the officer was assaulted after they tried to speak with the suspect however was not injured.

Milpitas police stated the person was arrested and booked into jail. The suspect faces a number of prices, together with throwing an object at a transferring automobile, assaulting a police officer, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of narcotics with two prior convictions.
