Housebreaking instruments, meth discovered on man sneaking round Benicia house

(KRON) – Housebreaking instruments and methamphetamine had been discovered on a suspect accused of prowling a residence, based on the Benicia Police Division. 

Round midnight on Thursday, Benicia law enforcement officials responded to West L Road. Officers had been knowledgeable that an unknown particular person was prowling round a residence.

Responding officers mentioned they situated the suspect hiding behind a automobile within the driveway. Authorities subsequently detained the suspect. In looking out the suspect, the suspect’s pockets, housebreaking instruments, a meth pipe, a knife and a dagger had been found and seized.

The suspect was recognized as 62-year-old Walnut Creek resident David Brian Rettew. 

He was arrested and booked into the Solano County Jail for disorderly conduct, possessing housebreaking instruments, possessing a managed substance and possessing illegal paraphernalia.
