WALNUT CREEK, Calif. (KRON) — Costs are going up at grocery retailer registers. Customers on the Safeway in Walnut Creek say they cannot sustain with the present prices as costs are set to be impacted by the tariffs imposed by the Trump administration.

KRON4 spoke with prospects about their plan to price range for these worth modifications.

“I think it’s unfortunate because as if those items are not already expensive,” mentioned one shopper on the Safeway on Broadway. “They’re going to be even more expensive, so it makes me sad… but what can you do?”
