Hyatt Waterfront Lodge in Oakland Set to Close Its Doors This Week

(KRON) — The Hyatt Waterfront Lodge in Oakland is closing on the finish of this month. In keeping with Waterfront Lodge Normal Supervisor James Dinnall, the closure is efficient Friday, Jan. 31 at 11:59 p.m.

Any reservations for dates Jan. 31 and past is not going to be honored, the resort stated. Hyatt is within the means of notifying all affected friends and clients of this week’s cut-off date. Employees will help clients with alternate resort preparations or canceling reservations at no penalty.

The resort is positioned at 10 Washington St. by the Port of Oakland. The Hyatt Waterfront Lodge is positioned in Jack London Sq. and is owned by JLS Associates, LLC.

“The Port of Oakland regrets losing a good tenant in Jack London Square,” the port stated in an announcement to KRON4.

Oakland police investigating deadly capturing Wednesday

Dinnall didn’t present a cause for the resort’s closure. Plans for the way forward for the five-story constructing with 145 guestrooms are unknown at the moment.
